Hong Kong

March 14, 2018

This card came to me from Jason in Hong Kong.  He wrote a little about Hong Kong movies as well, so I was happy to receive his card.

He wrote,
"Dear Helen,
This is my first time sending a card to Japan.  I am from Hong Kong.  Have you ever seen Hong Kong Movie?  My favourite movie in Hong Kong is Steven Chow movie, his movies are really funny.
Take care my friend.  All the best to you.

Jason"

Just as a side note, there was a rubber stamped message on the back of the card that said there was 45 yen due on the post card!  I am guessing that there wasn't enough postage.  Oops.  I didn't have to pay it though. Whew!

Here's the stamp that Jason used.

China

March 12, 2018

I received this lovely card from Danbo in China. He dashed off a short note and used some gorgeous stamps on the card.  What's not to like about that?

He wrote,
"Ni-hao!  This is the world natural heritage - Guilin scenery of Southwestern China!
Happy Postcrossing!

Finland

March 3, 2018

Sirpa sent this card to me from Finland with a sweet note.  She looked at my favourites and found the card there.  Since she had it, she sent it to me.  How lovely!

She wrote,
"Hameenlinna 25.2.2018

Hello Helen!

I saw this card among your faves and had it - enjoy!

When I was child I knew one dog like this - a summer neighbour had one, his name was 'Rasse' a bit like Lassie...

All the best,
Sirpa"

Thank you so much!  I'm not sure if this is a Sheltie or a Collie pup, but Shelties are very dear to my heart.

Germany

March 3, 2018

This bright and colourful card came to me all the way from Germany.  Sebastian wrote a short little note on the back of the card too.

He wrote,
"Hello Helen,
nice greetings from Kaufbeuren, a small city with 45000 inhabitants in Bavaria.

Best Wishes
Sebastian"

Google Translate says that the message on the front translates to "Pick Me" which I rather like!

These are the stamps on the back, rather nice aren't they?
