I came back from Tokyo on Monday night and found a lot of cards waiting for me, so many that I have to double up some of my blog entries! This is one of those double ones!
Roland sends greetings from Leipzig in Germany. He writes that the card shows a house where the German poet Schiller lived for a month in 1785. Schiller was a friend of the poet Johann Wolfgang Goethe, who also lived in Leipzig for a few years. Roland closes by sending his best regards.

I don't think I've seen this particular stamp before. It is quite nice!
The second card is from Jo. He says that this is a fine photo of the Cologne Cathedral.
His favourite movies are 'Dead Man' by Jim Jarmusch, 'Jede Menge Kohle' by Adolf Winkelmann, which means "Any Amount of Coal" is his absolute fave, but he doesn't think there is an English version.
He signs off saying, "Best regards & take care".
