Two More From Germany

February 10, 2014

Frank sent this card to me from Germany's oldest city with his best regards.  He said that the winter this year wasn't very cold yet, so it is difficult to find plants covered in frost like on the card.  However, he says that maybe there are some cold days with snow coming up.  "Who knows?" he asks!

He signs off by bidding me to take care.

It's a little unusual to have a Luxembourg stamp on a German card, but Frank works for a company in Luxembourg, so it makes sense. It's a cool stamp, for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Anja, a thirty year old from Cologne sent this card.  She choose this card, because the cloverleaf, if it has four leaves on it, is a sign for luck.

"The card says: "Little lucky charm for huge tasks."

So, I hope this four-leaf clover brings a smile and much luck to you."

She signs off with her best wishes for me.
"Little lucky charm for huge tasks."

A really sweet little card!  Thank you.
