A couple of cards from Belarus for you today. Have a look!
The first card says,"Greetings from Belarus! We are twins - Lena and Aya. Hope you'll enjoy our card! Wish you all the best and have a nice day! Best wishes...."
They also used a very interesting stamp on their card. I wouldn't use it as a guide to eat wild mushrooms, but it's a neat stamp.
*****
If you think this card looks familiar, give yourself 10 points! I received the same one a few days earlier. However, there wouldn't have been time for the sender of the second card to know that I received the first card before it was sent, so it really couldn't be helped. The back of the card is quite different though.
"Hello Helen! Sorry that I couldn't make you happy with b/w card of actor but I hope this food picture is also nice :) Here you can see very simple, tasty and that's why popular food in Belarus (and, I suppose in Ukraine and Russia too). To cook it you need:
250 gr of cottage cheese, 1 egg, 1 spoon of flour, 2 spoons of sugar, and some sour cream for serving a meal. You should just mix all the ingredients and fry this mass in a form of disk(like on photo) for 10-15 minutes. Hug, Anja!"
"P.S. Bon appetit!"
Honestly, I am so thrilled that Anja sent along the recipe's translation for me too. I don't know if I'll make it, but I am thinking about it!
The stamp looks like it has been embroidered, so it is quite interesting. I haven't seen this one before.
Two great cards! Fun :-)

I'm going to get some cottage cheese and try this for dinner tonight!! Thanks for posting the recipe!
Forgot to say that I really like the flower and towel card, too. So pretty! And the embroidered flower stamp is very nice, too.
You're welcome. Let me know how they turn out! I tried to find a similar recipe using those ingredients and I think they might be blintzes....but I'm not completely sure.
Thanks for visiting today!
That mushroom stamp is beautiful.
Thank you! I like it a lot too.
