Anna sent this yummy looking card from Belarus. She wrote that on the card there are draniki. Draniki-potato pancakes, are a dish of Belrusian cuisine, popular in Ukrainian, Russian, Eastern European and Jewish cuisine. Traditionally they are served hot with sour cream, butter or machanka[sour mushroom soup]. Draniki prepared quickly enough to fry them on both sides until golden brown and during this time are ready. This is a very tasty dish.
