This lovely card arrived in my mailbox a few days ago. Eva of Mail Adventures sent it to me with a lovely note on the back. I won't post all of it but some of it is quite interesting and not overly personal.
Eva wrote, "...this postcard was a gift, and I thought you would like it. Since our exchange, I wanted to send you something "Moroccan". This area is a noted film-making location (For example; Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Game of Thrones, ..Babel, Kundun...)."
In any case, I love it!

Thanks so much Eva!

Thanks for posting it! I'm glad that you like the postcard.
The blue stamp is about the 150th anniversary of the lighthouse of Cap Spartel. It's in Tanger, not far away from home, so I've been there sometimes.
And the red stamp is one of the commemorative of the Green March. They issue a stamp every year, but last year (maybe due to the 40th anniversary), they issued two. I don't remember if I had written this information on the postcard...
Oh, I forgot to say that yesterday I read this article about the Moroccan film studies, maybe it interests you: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/may/27/morocco-hollywood-door-to-the-desert-ouarzazate
You didn't write anything about the stamps on the card, so I appreciate knowing about them! Thanks too for the article. I'll look it up!
