The theme of this weekend's Blog Link-Up Party is Gratitude. Not many of my postcards are connected to this theme, but I did manage to find one that fits. Hurray!
On a more personal note, I actually am so grateful for almost all of my postcards. The fact that people choose lovely cards, write nice things on the back and then send them to me is a wonderful thing. There are some days when a nice postcard in the mail just lifts my spirits. It is funny how mail can do that!
I'm afraid I don't remember much about this card. It was sent from Germany and was rather colourful and fun. I received it in September 2013. I love the multi-language idea. It is so simple, but lovely!
Please see the other members of the Blog Link-Up Party for their take on the theme of Gratitude. Thank YOU for visiting my blog today! I hope to see you again soon.

In Filipino, we say "salamat". Thank you is one phrase I try to learn in each of the country I visit for work. On top of my head, I can remember for India I can say "bahut shukriya", in Malay it's "terima kasih", in Mandarin "xie xie", in Khmer "orkun", in Thai "koh pun kap", in Japanese is "arigato gozaimasu".
Wow it's a good review for me! Thanks for sharing this colorful postcard! Some of the thank you words here I know already but it's good to see more to learn more. :D
Thanks Maria, I'm glad that you liked the card! Have a good weekend!
A lovely card for this week's theme.
Thank you John! I'm glad you like it too!
Perfect choice for the theme. Tack! (=Swedish)
どういたしまして! (You're welcome!)
Thank you for saying so, I'm glad that you liked the card!
Hi Helen, What a perfect card for the Gratitude theme. I like your comment about some days a nice postcard in the mail can lift one's spirits. So true! I wonder if you also go to postcard shows and buy cards there? Hope you have a fine weekend!
Thank you John, I'm glad you like the card. No, unfortunately I don't go to Postcard shows. I'm not sure if they even have them in Japan! Happily, Japanese people do send a lot of postcards so there is a good supply of nice cards in most shops.
Thank you for your comment!
Eventually you found a perfect postcard for this week :)
Yes that card would certainly bring a lot of colour into a mailbox. I like the map pins, I've always wanted to plot out a journey with those but would need a whole lot more space.
Thank you Eva! I'm glad you liked it. I had forgotten about it, so it was nice to be reminded of this card!
Joy, yes it did bring a lot of light to my mailbox. Hmm, if I put pins in for all of the countries that I have visited I would definitely need a lot of space!
Thank you for visiting!
