This nice card arrived from Russia and was actually a second card from the sender!
The Malachite Drawing Room. 1838-1839 |
She wrote on the back,
"Hi, Helen!
My name is Valentina. I send you a second postcard,
because I did not sure that the first one will be delivered.
Ygazu! = Good Luck!"
I sent Valentina a thank you note via Postcrossing to say that I did receive both cards, and thanked her for the second card, because of course I can't register it too. I loved her first card, I like this one a lot too. If you'd like to see the other card she sent, it is blogged about here.

It's so sweet for members of PC to send a second card!
It is, you are right. I think she assumed the first one wouldn't arrive. It did and was lovely!
