France

March 26, 2014

Although the picture on the front of this card says Sweden, it is actually sent from France.  I'm a tad disappointed, but I don't have a lot of Swedish cards anyway, so I still like it!

Didier writes a short and simple message, "Happy Postcrossing, Hope you like this postcard."

I like the "real" stamp on here, the cow!  It is a Ferrandaise Cow, which was actually endangered at one time.  Now with careful breeding, numbers have grown, but there still aren't a lot of them.

Thanks Didier!

I also feel a bit strange when I receive a postcard from one country, but sent from another. Especially if there isn't any explanation... By the way, I don't like very postcards with so short messages. But it sometimes happens in Postcrossing...

I have received one stamp from this series. I like cows!

I don't mind if there's a good explanation either...I've had a couple where they told me they just got back from vacation, I understand that...and as you know, I love reading the backs of the cards. I always hope to learn something about the sender...even a little thing.

I know you like cows. I saw this stamp and thought of you!
