France - Food

July 6, 2018

This card came to me from Fanny in France, but it was bought in Portugal.  I'll let Fanny explain further.

She wrote;
hello!
I'm french but my parents visited Lisboa, portugal and brought me back some cards. You can see 'pastel de natal' on this one. It's typical pastry from here. My parents said it's really good! Have a great day!

I've had similar pastries when I was in Macao.  They were delish!

I just read up on Lucie and Raymond Aubrac. They were heroes of the French Resistance during the second world war.  Their exploits were rather amazing.
