Russian Federation - Books

July 8, 2019

This card was a bit of a deja vu experience as I had received one the month before with the same picture. The writing was different though. The person didn't write a very personalized message, it was more of a geography lesson....

She wrote;

"Hello!
Download the app and direct the phone to the poststamp: App Store, Google Play ⇒mARko....and surprise:) [I never did try this]
Ulyanovsk is the only place in Europe where two deep rivers: Volga and Swiyaga proceed parallel to each other at a distance of 2km in the opposite direction. Best wishes!"

A really lovely stamp.

Russia - Actress

January 23, 2017

This beautiful card came from Russia recently.  It was sent by Tatyana and she wrote a nice note and the back and used a great stamp.  Come along and read more....

Tatyana wrote,

"Hello from Russia!  My name is Tatyana, I live in Rostov.on.Don. on the south of Russia.  A couple of days ago I returned from Georgia (not state but country). There I celebrated New Year with my husband and our common friend.  Georgia is awesome country with awesome food and awesome wine!)
Happy Postcrossing!

Grace Kelly

Here's another look at the Postcrossing stamp and I think the castle stamp looks different from usual.  Maybe just me!

Actress - Black and White

October 24, 2016

This great card came to my mailbox from Petra in Germany.  It features Marlene Dietrich.  I have received this card before, but the note is friendly.

She writes,
"Best Wishes from Heinsberg the western town in Germany.  I'm Petra and I live with my family near the Dutch border.  I hope you like this card with 'Marlene Dietrich' an actress from year 1945."

Taiwan - Food

August 9, 2016

Victoria sent this friendly but sadly duplicate card to me from Taiwan.  She did write a nice note on the back though.

She wrote,

"Hello!
Greetings from Taiwan!
Sending you a card with one traditional favor of noodle that you must try if you come visit :-) Hope you enjoy the summer time!

Victoria"

Victoria used a lovely stamp on the back of her card and I am showing it off for you here.  Very cool.

Russia - Food

March 14, 2016

I got this repeat card from Russia.  The sender didn't write anything on the back. The good thing is that the sender did use gorgeous stamps on the back of the card.  However, I really wish that they had written something!

Really beautiful stamps!
