Ana sent this card from Portugal way back in March. Apologies but April and May have been crazy busy months so I didn't update this blog.

I'm not sure what they are doing, but it looks like needlepoint.  

 This is an interesting stamp, I'm not sure what it is about!

This very wild looking card arrived all the way from Portugal recently.  Inês sent it with a nice little note on the back.

She wrote,

"Hello!  Greetings from Portugal: My name is Inês. I am 27 years old and I live in Lisbon.  This card is from an old Portuguese movie.  I don't remember see it, but I had this card and thought you may like.  I'm not a very cinema girl.  I prefer read.  Nice to meet you.

A pretty little stamp, not sure what it represents.

This card came from Rita in Portugal.  It has a lot of writing on the back, but it was preprinted. I'm not sure if it is an ad card, but I think it was.

Rita wrote,"Hello! :-)" After all of the writing in Portuguese printed on the card she writes, "(Google it :-) :-) )" and then, "Be happy! :-)Best wishes, Rita"

Marta sent this card from Portugal and wrote about herself on the back of it.  Hurray!

She writes, "Hello!  I'm Marta from Portugal.  I'm 16 years old.  I love movies and books too.  My favourite book is "1984", George Orwell and I can't decid my favourite movie because there are so many movies I love.  How about yours?

The Postcard is my favourite food in Spain: paella.  Happy Postcrossing"

Portugal - Black & White Writer Card

Manuel sent a very cool card with a great stamp and message to me recently. I love black and white portraits and this was a very nice one of Evelyn Waugh.  Shall we begin?

Manuel wrote, " Ola (Hello)  Greetings from Silves, in the north of Portugal.  I hope you like this card with Evelyn Waugh's portrait, acually I only saw the BBC series Brideshead Revisited from his book. Well, a movie? 'Barry Lyndon' by Stanley Kubrick, I liked it.  Regards Manuel"
