Ireland

July 10, 2017

This card came to me from Ireland and was sent by Cindy.  She mentioned a few of her favourite films which always makes me happy! This was a prepaid card, so no stamp to show you.

She wrote,

Dear Helen,
Beannachtaí ó Éirinn (Greetings from Ireland)

I hope you are well.  My name is Cindy. I am 27 from Dublin.

Some of my Favorite Films which I watch over again are Totoro, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Any Disney.

Today is 14℃ and a dull day with rain showers.

Happy Postcrossing! Cindy

Brian writes, "Hello from Ireland.  Here  you see the Avoca Mill where many articles are still hand woven."

This is an interesting stamp.  It's a machine tape, but it also has a picture on it!  I haven't seen one like it before.

Ireland

August 24, 2013

Anna was lovely and wrote about a wedding she went to in Poland. It was a half Canadian wedding.  She says that her best friend met her future husband at Anna's hen party in Prague.  The couple is going to move to Canada and Anna and her husband will visit them.

I'm excited for her.

The picture shows an old windmill in County Wexford, Ireland.
