Elke was very nice when she sent this card to me. She noted that she didn't have a movie card, but hoped I would also like one from a musical too. Disney's "Lion King" has played for many years in Hamburg. She continues that Hamburg is way up north and she lives in the south. She thinks that it is hard to live in Japan without speaking Japanese. She wonders how I manage shopping and reading!
I can read a couple of ways of writing in Japanese (but not kanji, although I recognize a few characters). I manage quite well actually.
