Germany - Art

Angela sends this card with her best wishes from Germany.  She writes that this postcard shows a picture of 'art nouveau' which she likes very much.  She especially likes the architecture.  She likes Casablanca and Strictly Ballroom, and she also likes movies from Jane Austen novels like Emma, Pride and Prejudice, but only from BBC with Colin Firth. (That's my favourite personally!)

I've just been doing a little light reading on Ludwig Leichhardt, the person in the stamp below.  He was a famous explorer and naturalist, who went missing on an attempt to cross Australia and was never found.  It makes for quite fascinating reading!
