And just like that, I'm back! I received a bumper crop of mail today...12 postcards so over the next few days you'll see a few of them here.
The first card comes from Trisha who lives in Hawaii. She wrote a friendly note on the back of her card.
She said, "Hello and Happy New Year! I'm Trisha and I live in Hawaii. I'm sure you know it is quite a popular tourist destination for the Japanese. My sister and her family will be visiting Japan this year! Trisha"

Happy New Year to you too! I like this postcard.
Thank you! I like it too.
I was getting lonely without any postcards!
My postcard for you is on the way. I hope you don't have to wait a lot!
Usually the post office in Japan is great, but around New Year they are very overworked. I am guessing that is why I received so many postcards yesterday!
We went to Hawaii a few years ago for our 25th wedding anniversary and loved it!
I was there for number 9 I think, it was great! I have family that lives there, so I was able to visit with them too, that was nice.
Thanks for visiting!
