Russia

February 13, 2017

This card came from Nastya in Russia.  She wrote a friendly note on the back with lots of information about the stamp she used.  I like that!

She wrote,

"Hello, Helen!

My name is Nastya.
I'm from Russia.
On this card you can
see a stamp with our
traditional Russian soup-okroshka!
We like it very much. Hope you'll
like this card also ๐Ÿ˜€.

Now in Russia is very cold
(-26 ℃). But it's essential
for us in this season.
So, wish you all the best,
God bless!  Happy Postcrossing!"

Lovely stamps!Sadly, the cancellation mark has covered a lot of the great food stamp, but it still looks good to me!  The one on the left is beautiful too.

It is a great stamp (and better with the explanation). I like these postcards with the keep calm slogans. It is a bit silly, I know... :D

Silly!! :-D I have a "Keep Calm" postcard up on my wall at the moment...it's one of the normal ones I think, Keep Calm and Carry On. It's supposed to remind me to not sweat the small stuff, or something like that!

I agree with you about the stamp. I like the fact that she explained about it. I never do, as my stamps go on last, before I go to the post office!

Thanks for visiting!
