Germany

November 5, 2013

This card was signed and stamped by many people.  There is a difficult to read message, which says,"Best wishes from the 4th International Postcrossing Meet-up in Bielefeld, Germany".

It is kind of cool that my card came out of a big meet up, but I'm a little sad that I didn't learn anything about the sender and why she chose it for me.

Thanks everyone!  I hope someday to be able to attend a Postcrossing meet-up.  Someday!

That will be a special card. Now you've got me curious about meet-ups. Since I'm back in the big city, I bet there is a group here. Must check and see!

I'm not sure if there is! There are some meet-ups in Tokyo, but I'm not sure about other places. You could probably organize one if you wanted to! You'd have to check in the Forum section of PostCrossing.

I would love to go to a meet-up and chat to other postcrossers but there haven't been any near Liverpool since I started.

Maybe you should organize one?! Here it would be difficult unless some of the postcrossers speak English...they don't always.

And welcome, by the way :-)

When I was in high school, one of my friends was a foreign exchange student from Bielefeld. Nice to see this card as it brings back fond memories.
