Thai Food from Russia

June 4, 2015

I received this card from Mila at the start of June.  The recipe does sound good, but unfortunately I'm not fond of very spicy food.

She writes, "My name is Mila.  I live near the Moscow with my husband.  We are like travel.  We are visited Thailand last winter.  It was fantastic adventure(especially local food!!!)

I like start my ordinary morning with a cup of coffee without milk.  At the same time, I like examine new postcards.

Best wishes from Russia!"

Samtam - Thailand
I don't know if I've had these stamps before, but I don't know anything about them.  Anyone out there?

Even though Mila sent a card from another country than her own, the fact that she talked about her trip to Thailand and the food in Thailand meant that there was a reason, and she made the connection for me.  I really appreciate it.

Good day!
There is Hugo Chávez on the left stamp and State Nature Reserve «Kerzhenskiy» on the right one. It's a part of Nizhegorodskoe Zavolzhye Biosphere Reserve. It was incluted to UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves in 2002.

Thank you!

I think it is a little strange that Hugo Chavez was on a Russian stamp, but Google tells me that Venezuela and Russia were important trading allies. I appreciate the information about the Biosphere Reserve too!

Thanks for your help :-)
