Gotochi Cards - Kanagawa

January 4, 2016

Happy New Year!  The post office has been working odd hours here due to the New Year Holidays so I haven't been receiving any postcrossing cards for a while.  I've also been a tad busy at home with a bit of travelling, so I haven't been able to write a lot of entries for this blog.  I hope that I'll soon be bringing you my fabulous cards during 2016 ...when I get them!

As I haven't had new cards for a bit, I will attempt to show you some lovely Gotochi cards that I have received recently as part of a swap I did.  If you are reading from outside Japan, I'm sorry, but I am unable to swap Gotochi Cards.  I only collect Gotochi Cards from Japan.

Here goes...my recent acquisitions....

Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama
I have actually been to the area behind the Ferris Wheel!

Ryuko

Kawasaki Daishi

Commodore Perry and the Black Ships
There is some information about Kanagawa Prefecture on Wikipedia here.

How do I join postcrossing or be a member? I am in love with Gotochi cards but do not even have one YET! Thank you! And aloha from Hawaii!

Yvette, thank you for commenting. If you go to Postcrossing.com you will be able to sign up, and then you will be able to send and receive all sorts of postcards. You can't demand Gotochi cards, but if you say that you like them, someone in Japan might send you one for a postcrossing. They are more expensive than regular cards plus they cost more to send through the mail.
