I received this cool art card from Marieke and thought I'd tell you all about it.
She writes,"Hi, I'm a fan of 17th century painting & this genre piece is considered to be the epitome of Dutch master painting. But nothing you see on the table is Dutch (or from the Dutch Republic then) Everything you see was imported from all over the world as the Dutch ruled the seas back then. They were also the only ones to be allowed to trade with the Japanese @ Deshima. Groetjes uit Nederland! Marieke"
